Puyallup Lacrosse Club families, players, coaches, and supporters — the votes are in!

And what a vote it was.

We received 60 votes and reached nearly 90% participation , which is absolutely incredible! Even more exciting, the voting was extremely close. Every vote mattered, and every name submitted and voted for was part of this process.

To everyone who took the time to participate: THANK YOU!

For those who voted for a different mascot, your voice was heard too. Many of the choices were separated by only a small number of votes, and the support was spread across several names. We wanted this decision to belong to our players and families, and you showed up in a big way.

But now the votes have been counted, and it's time to officially begin the next chapter of Puyallup Lacrosse.

This is more than just a new mascot. It represents the beginning of a new chapter as we continue building one Puyallup Lacrosse Club from our youngest players all the way through high school.

And we're not finished yet.

�� NEXT UP: DESIGN OUR NEW TRIDENTS LOGO!

For the next two weeks , we are opening the door for our community to submit ideas for the official Puyallup Lacrosse Club Tridents logo .

Players, parents, coaches, board members, and supporters who have a creative idea are encouraged to submit a design.

Once the submission period closes, we will put the logo designs and color combinations in front of our club members for another vote.

Why?

Because it's your club, and you get to help choose what it looks like.

The winning logo and colors will become part of the new identity of Puyallup Lacrosse as we move forward as the Tridents.

Thank you again to everyone who submitted names, voted, encouraged others to participate, and helped make this process such a success. Nearly 90% participation is something our club should be proud of.

The name has been chosen.

The next chapter has begun.

Registration for the 2027 Puyallup Lacrosse Club season is officially OPEN on October 1st , and we couldn't be more excited to get things rolling!

The countdown is almost over, and we're ready to welcome new and returning players as we build an incredible 2027 season together.

OCTOBER REGISTRATION SPECIAL ��

For the entire month of October , we're giving every player who registers an EARLY-BIRD DISCOUNT OF $50 OFF REGISTRATION!

Lacrosse Clinics

OFF-SEASON SPEED & AGILITY CLINIC

This is not a lacrosse clinic , but it’s a great opportunity for our lacrosse players to stay active and get ready for the upcoming season!

Coach Craig is running a Speed & Agility Clinic every Monday through November 2 at the Puyallup Park & Recreation Center .

It’s a great way for our lacrosse kids to work on speed, agility, coordination, and athleticism during the off-season so they can hit the field ready to go when the lacrosse season starts!

Want to sign up for lacrosse but not sure if it is for your athlete? Our lacrosse clinics are for brand new players to get a feel for the game and for returning player to show how it’s done.

No Equipment Needed! All sticks are provided to use. Just show up ready to play. For all grades and abilities.

A message from our President Scot Sheppard

At the Puyallup Lacrosse Club, we are dedicated to fostering the growth of youth lacrosse in our community. We provide a positive, supportive environment where young athletes can develop their skills, build lasting friendships, and learn the value of teamwork.

Our mission is to instill a love for the game of lacrosse in every player, while emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship, discipline, and respect both on and off the field. We offer a range of programs and opportunities for players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes, ensuring that everyone has a chance to grow and excel in the sport.

Join us in creating unforgettable experiences for our kids, as we work together to build not only better lacrosse players but also confident, responsible young individuals who are ready to take on life’s challenges.
